I want to commend an employee at the Fort Smith, Arkansas location, a young woman named Chima Nkwo. I was in there shopping on 07/10/26 and needed help with a heavy item. I'm 73 and not as strong as I used to be. Chima loaded the item in my cart, went with me to checkout, then out to my vehicle and loaded it. All with a friendly, helpful attitude. I think she went above and beyond on customer service. I'm always pleased by the customer service in this store. And Chima exceeded my expectations.

Return services are totally backwards, improper procedures, and total waste of time at customer’s expense. I have had this weedeater for over six months, actually nine months since October, which I had very clearly mentioned upon requesting to return or exchange it, or even just see if there’s a “user error” as I only got it to run one time and has not started since. They said they couldn’t test it for me nor do the return until after I went home, emptied the gas out of it, and came back, which I did based on the associate Caitlin’s word, outside in front of the store, saying she really wanted to help me and assured I could return when I came back. Upon returning, about 30 minutes later, that associate was gone and I was helped by Lacy, who began the return. Lo and behold, the return was denied because it had been past 90 days, which I had been extremely clear and open about from the beginning when they first sent me home to empty the gas out and said they could still return it. I was happy to do so based off their word. Why not just check my receipt and enter it in the system and see if it would actually work as promised before giving me the run around to go home for a second

A few years ago, I purchased interior paint from another large box store. Recently I needed another gallon to do some touch up. The store where I originally bought the paint said they couldn't mix it, that it was obsolete. I took a sample to home depot and they said no problem, they matched it perfectly !!

Everything was good but the employees. They didn’t want to help and when they did they were useless. Self checkout was a disaster due to it being only one machine open for cash. And when trying to redeem my free RYOBI item at the self check out the employee didn’t even care and didn’t even help . Horrible experience with the employees. Only good thing was just the store itself excluding the employees.

I was over charged for material I had to get different material because they didn't have what I needed and cost me more money. I was given an attitude by multiple people. And was in the store for 3 hours walking around with 3 fully loaded carts and offered no help to check out or load I had to ask 4 different times to get a forklift driver. Finally after dropping off a heavy pallet of wood I was left in the parking lot with my wife to load it alone and was again offered no help no discount for paying more and nothing but rude people. This store needs an attitude adjustment on a Saturday night.
